Fleetwood B. Joiner, President & Principal Architect, NCARB

Fleetwood Joiner has over 45 years of experience as a professional architect and has been the principal and president of Fleetwood Joiner, Inc. since 1972 with projects in California, Nevada, Hawaii, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Florida, New Mexico, Mexico, Central America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He graduated summa cum laude with a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University, School of Architecture, and did Post-graduate studies in Urban Sociology also at Tulane.

His professional experience includes master planning communities, custom residential, office, commercial and retail, recreational facilities, high density residential and senior care facilities, industrial buildings and medical laboratories and modular construction. Fleetwood has developed, designed and owned two modular system companies providing low cost housing for the US, Pacific Rim and Central American markets. His knowledge of various construction formats enables creative design with consideration for budget criteria.

Fleetwood Joiner has been the recipient of Gold Nugget and AIA awards, has been featured in numerous national publications and has appeared on CBS and local educational TV. Fleetwood has an active Architectural License in the States of California, Nevada, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Washington State, Arizona and New Mexico. Fleetwood is an accomplished painter and sculptor. He enjoys traveling internationally, studying various cultures and photographing architecture to add to his library.
